About Aligner
Aligner is a newcomer to the at-home clear aligner market. Launched in 2022 and based in Sugar Land, Texas, they offer all-day and night aligners and a teeth whitening kit.

According to the website, a dentist or orthodontist will manage your Aligner treatment plan. However, you won’t need to make any office visits. Aligner32’s entire process is remote.

Is Aligner Right for You?
Aligner is still a new company, so we have no verified customer feedback. There isn’t enough customer experience information to know about their treatment quality.
By taking the Smile Assessment, you’ll be able to determine if you’re a good candidate for the aligners. They seem to be best suited for people with mild teeth alignment issues.
With time, Aligner may show itself to be a strong competitor to other aligner brands. But we don’t have enough information right now to know for sure.
How Aligner Works
Aligner is a fully at-home aligner system. You’ll be able to get your dentist-approved treatment plan and start wearing your aligners without leaving your house. You’ll also receive remote monitoring to ensure your treatment stays on track.
How to Get Started
Before making any purchases from Aligner32, you’ll want to take their Smile Assessment. This short survey will establish whether Aligner will suit your needs. If not, in-office aligners or braces may be a better fit.
If you are a candidate for Aligner treatment, you can order all-day or night-only aligners. The aligners are the same for both options. However, the all-day option is faster and more efficient.
Once you’ve made your selection, you can look forward to the following:
- Aligner will mail an impression kit to your home. It will include instructions to create impressions of your teeth.
- You’ll send the kit back to Aligner32. They’ll use your impressions to design your treatment plan and custom aligners. You’ll get a full refund if your impressions show you’re not a good candidate.
- Aligner will send you the treatment plan for your approval. You’ll see a preview of what your smile will look like post-treatment.
- Once you’ve signed off on your treatment plan, you’ll receive your aligners in the mail. You can start wearing them as soon as they arrive.
Treatment Process
You’ll get a custom number of aligners based on your treatment plan. Every 10 days, you must change your aligners. Each set will become gradually straighter to match the shifting of your teeth.
You’ll stay in virtual contact with Aligner32’s team throughout your treatment. They’ll periodically ask for progress pictures. They may also be able to answer any treatment questions.
For treatment to be as effective as possible, you’ll need to wear your aligners for the time specified in your plan. This means 22 hours daily for the all-day plan or 10 hours daily for the night plan.
After you’ve finished treatment, you’ll need to wear a set of retainers. This will help your teeth maintain their new positions. According to Aligner32, you’ll need to wear your retainers all day for 6 months and at night only.
How Long Does Treatment Take?
Aligner claims their all-day aligner plan takes 4 to 6 months, while their nightwear plan requires 6 to 8 months.
These are relatively short treatment times, suggesting Aligner is intended for mild teeth alignment issues only.

Aligner Treatment Options
Aligner offers two treatment plans: one for all-day aligner wear and one for nightwear. Both plans include a teeth whitening kit and a set of retainers.

1. All-Day Plan
Aligner32’s all-day aligner plan includes:
- All the aligners you’ll need for your treatment plan
- One set of retainers for after treatment
- A teeth whitening kit
- Remote monitoring throughout the treatment process
With this plan, you’ll need to wear your aligners for 22 hours a day. This means only removing them for eating and oral hygiene purposes. Not consistently wearing your aligners will make your treatment take longer and may harm the final results.
2. Night Wear Plan
The night aligner plan offered by Aligner includes everything offered by the all-day plan. The difference is that this plan allows you to wear your aligners for only 10 hours a day, mainly while you’re asleep.
We at NewMouth don’t recommend using night aligners. There isn’t enough evidence to determine that night aligners are safe and effective. Night aligners also require longer treatment times.
Aligner Costs and Financing Options
On Aligner32’s website, there are two payment options for each Aligner treatment plan:
- $1,299 upfront or $65 a month for the all-day plan
- $1,399 upfront or $70 a month for the nightwear plan
Aligner doesn’t clarify how many months you’ll need to pay the monthly rates listed above. It’s also unclear how to get these monthly payment plans since their payment links don’t mention them.
Aligner uses Shop Pay to process payments. Shop Pay allows you to pay in monthly installments. These installments, however, are higher than the rates listed on Aligner32’s website. They include a 15% APR.
Insurance and HSA Funds
If you have dental insurance, it may provide partial coverage for your clear aligners. To confirm, contact your insurance provider.
Aligner accepts funds from health savings accounts (HSAs) and flexible savings accounts (FSAs). If you have an HSA or FSA, you may be able to put those funds toward Aligner treatment.

Pros and Cons of Aligner
Because Aligner launched recently, we can’t say much about them with certainty. Here are the advantages and drawbacks we can currently talk about:
Pros
- Their listed prices make them more affordable than many other aligner brands
- As a new company, they are willing to offer bonuses and discounts for referrals
- They provide free refinements if you are unsatisfied with your results
Cons
- There is no verified information about the quality or material of their aligners
- We don’t know for sure whether they provide good customer service
- The payment plans they advertise are inconsistent with what’s available on their website
Aligner vs. Other Aligners
Aligner is a newcomer to a large and growing aligner market. Here are some key differences between Aligner and its competitors:
Aligner vs. Invisalign
Invisalign is the oldest and best-known clear aligner brand. It has a presence in orthodontic clinics throughout the U.S. Thousands of users have documented their experiences online over the years.
Compared to Aligner32, we have much more information about Invisalign, how it works, and its effectiveness. It’s an in-office treatment with an established reputation.
On the other hand, Invisalign can be significantly more expensive than Aligner32, frequently costing over $3,000. If you have minor teeth alignment needs, it may be more cost-effective to choose an at-home aligner brand like Aligner32.
Aligner vs. Other At-Home Aligners
As an at-home aligner system, Aligner has a lot of competition. Some popular at-home aligner brands include:
- SmileDirectClub
- NewSmile
- ALIGNERCO
- Candid (which offers a hybrid of in-office and at-home treatment monitoring)
Aligner may have an advantage over these better-known brands regarding pricing. Of those listed above, only ALIGNERCO offers a significantly lower price than Aligner ($870 vs. $1,299).
However, the other brands have been around longer and have documented results. If you want to ensure the quality and efficiency of your aligner treatment, an already-established brand may be the better bet.
