Although the price point of ALIGNERCO is appealing to many people, it’s not always the best idea to go with the cheapest option. If you are looking for more hands-on care and remote monitoring, ALIGNERCO is not right for you.
At-home aligners are a discreet, effective, convenient, and affordable way to straighten your teeth from the comfort of your home. The trays are nearly invisible and slowly straighten your teeth in small increments. They can be removed anytime for eating, cleaning, and brushing your teeth.
On average, at-home aligners cost between $1,100 and $2,300. Compared to competitors, ALIGNERCO is between $750 and $1,200 cheaper.
If you need affordable at-home aligners, take the ALIGNERCO assessment quiz to see if you qualify for their treatment.
The NewMouth team compiled ALIGNERCO reviews from two websites. We found over 2,500 customer reviews in total. Most of the reviews are positive, while a small percentage of them are negative.
Most of the positive reviews about ALIGNERCO revolve around convenience, affordability, and customer service.
They have the absolute best customer service! I’ve asked about 100 questions and every single one was answered super quickly. They helped me through the impression process and were super nice.

Most of the negative reviews pertain to shipping, refunds, and final results not being 100% accurate.
The whole process took longer than I thought it would, but the final product is good for the price. Will follow up with another review after using the aligners for more than just a week.

I requested a refund in November after some life events and still have not received it.

The ALIGNERCO treatment process is simple and consists of the following steps:
To begin the teeth straightening process, the first step is to order an impression kit online. These kits are just $39.99. After receiving the kit, you’ll take a dental impression at home and send them back to ALIGNERCO.3
Using ALIGNERCO’s Smile Projection software, you’ll know how your teeth will look after treatment. Smile Projection can help you decide whether they’re worth the investment. If you decide to proceed, ALIGNERCO will start making your invisible aligners.
One of our writers at NewMouth ordered a starter kit through ALIGNERCO and took the impressions at home. She found that the impressions were easy to take.
After ALIGNERCO receives your impressions, a licensed dentist or orthodontist will review them in detail. If you aren’t a candidate for treatment, you’ll receive a refund on the starter kit.
If you are a candidate for treatment, your dentist will begin designing your treatment plan. This can take a few weeks to finalize. You’ll have to approve the plan before starting treatment and won’t be charged until then.
Once approved, ALIGNERCO will send the aligner trays straight to your door. They’ll also send additional aligners. You’ll switch out the invisible aligners every few weeks until the treatment process is complete (typically between 8 and 12 months).2
Throughout treatment, ALIGNERCO requires you to send progress photos to track tooth movement every few weeks. If you run into any issues, you can quickly contact a team member via email, phone, or chatbot.
ALIGNERCO will provide you with a custom-made retainer to maintain your newly straight teeth. You’ll wear this device every night while sleeping to keep your teeth straight for years to come.3 The retainer is included in the treatment cost.
Like other at-home invisible aligners, ALIGNERCO best suits people with mild to moderate teeth misalignment. This includes:
At-home invisible aligners like ALIGNERCO cannot treat severe cases of misalignment. You’ll need braces or Invisalign if you have severely crooked teeth.
ALIGNERCO does not provide in-office scans or in-depth monitoring during treatment, making it slightly riskier than other at-home aligner brands and in-office treatments. For a complete and more personalized service, we recommend Byte.
Weigh the pros and cons of ALIGNERCO to determine if treatment is right for you:
Safety is the top priority at ALIGNERCO. While they can’t guarantee that each patient will use the clear aligners correctly, they take all of the necessary precautions and provide detailed instructions to ensure safety and ease of use. They also:
Remember: while ALIGNERCO is more affordable, they are also a newer company with fewer reviews than brands like Byte and Candid.
There are mixed reviews as to whether at-home invisible aligners are safe. Many dentists and orthodontists always recommend in-office treatment (like Invisalign or braces) over at-home aligners. This is because these treatments can be monitored closely and it is easier to make adjustments.
However, at-home aligner treatment is generally considered safe and effective if you carefully follow instructions throughout treatment.
According to one study, 87.5% of respondents were satisfied with their at-home aligner treatment, while 6.6% had to visit their dentist after treatment due to adverse effects.1
Current research shows that at-home orthodontic treatment sis suitable for mild and moderate malocclusions. The risks of in-office treatment are even lower.
“Rather than warning patients wholesale against at-home aligners, it might be more productive for dentists to have frank discussions with them about the risks and benefits.”

ALIGNERCO has two aligner options:
ALIGNERCO’s most popular treatment is the SmileAdvantage Clear Aligner. This aligner is worn for 22+ hours daily and can be removed for cleaning, eating, and brushing. The average treatment duration is between 8 and 12 months.
These aligners cost $875 (full price).
ALIGNERCO also offers NightAdvantage Clear Aligners. They require less daily wear time (8 to 10 hours a day). Treatment takes between 12 and 18 months.
These aligners cost $1,075 (full price).
* Disclaimer: Although night aligners may be convenient, NewMouth does not recommend them over traditional aligners. Learn why here.
We recommend the SmileAdvantage Aligners over the NightAdvantage Aligners.
ALIGNERCO’s SmileAdvantage Aligners cost $875. These aligners should be worn for 22+ hours a day.
The NightAdvantage Aligners cost $1,075. These aligners are only worn while you sleep (10+ hours a day).
Although using aligners at night may be convenient, NewMouth does not recommend them over traditional aligners. Many oral health experts are concerned about their safety and effectiveness.
In fact, there is no scientific proof that night aligners are safe. They may actually do more harm to your teeth than good.9 From a clinical perspective, there are also concerns about what could go wrong if aligners are only worn for a few hours each day (less than 20 to 22 hours).9, 10
ALIGNERCO costs between $875 (regular aligners) and $1,075 (night aligners). You’ll also have to pay for the impression kit, which is under $50.
ALIGNERCO offers discounts and various payment options. Deals constantly change, so checking their website for current sales is important.
With the payment plan, you’ll pay $73/month a month for the regular aligners or $90/month a month for the night aligners.
You can also pay a $275 downpayment for regular aligners, followed by $175 monthly for 6 months. For night aligners, you’ll pay a $345 downpayment and $175 monthly for 11 months.
ALIGNERCO accepts HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account).
Your insurance may partially cover ALIGNERCO. You’ll need to ask your provider to determine if you’re covered. If your policy includes orthodontic benefits, you’ll likely receive a reimbursement.
Different aligner companies are available out there. If you’re not sure which aligner is best for you, read the comparisons below:
ALIGNERCO is one of the most affordable at-home aligners available ($875 to $1,075). Byte aligners cost between $1,999 and $2,399.
ALIGNERCO treatment takes longer than Byte. The average treatment time to achieve straighter teeth is between 8 and 18 months vs. 3 to 6 months for byte.
Both byte and ALIGNERCO provide night aligner options. However, Byte’s cost $900 more.
NewMouth doesn’t recommend night aligners for safety reasons. Learn why here.
Candid costs more than ALIGNERCO ($3,300 on average). You have to visit a CandidPro location for an in-person scan to begin treatment.
ALIGNERCO treatment typically is faster than Candid. The average treatment time is between 4 and 6 months vs. 4 to 12 months for Candid.
Unlike byte and ALIGNERCO, Candid doesn’t offer a night aligner option for safety reasons.
NewSmile costs about the same as ALIGNERCO but is an even newer company.
