How Candid Works

You’ll wear your aligners for about 22 hours a day, removing them only for eating, drinking (anything other than water), and brushing. Instead of switching trays every two weeks automatically, you’ll wait for a notification from your provider.

That notification comes after you send in a scan through the app. If your provider sees that the aligner is tracking well, you’ll move to the next set. If not, you’ll be told to keep wearing the current one.

Non-compliance, like skipping wear time or delaying scans, can lead to extra refinements and slower progress. Your app and provider work together to keep things on track.
